About The Position
Sentara Health is hiring a laboratory support technician to work full time days in the Anatomic Pathology Lab at Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA. (Monday-Friday; 0700-1530) This position is for the Anatomic Pathology lab, but will also assisting in cytology collection procedures. As a laboratory support technician (LST), duties are to prepare specimens per discipline operating procedure for result/interpretation by technical staff. Perform instrument maintenance and inventory functions per operating procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in chemical, physical or biological science or medical technology
