About The Position
Qualified biology instructors are needed to fill a number of lecture and laboratory positions within the Lab Sciences Department to begin January of 2022. Duties may include teaching lecture/laboratory assignments in any of the following courses: Human Biology, Anatomy and Physiology 1, and/or Anatomy and Physiology 2. We are looking specifically for instructors to teach during traditional daytime hours, although there may be opportunities to include evening and Saturday sessions as well.
Requirements
- Master's degree in biology, with specific anatomy and physiology, or related professional experience.
- Interact and communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Foster inclusion.
- Promote equal access and treatment for groups traditionally under-represented in higher education.
- Authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- In extraordinary cases, a bachelor's degree may be sufficient to fill a vacancy.
Responsibilities
- Teaching lecture/laboratory assignments in Human Biology, Anatomy and Physiology 1, and/or Anatomy and Physiology 2.
Benefits
- Level A - $665/credit hour
- Level B - $785/credit hour after teaching 6 semesters at Jefferson.
