About The Position
Jefferson Community College, located in Watertown, New York, is seeking qualified biology instructors to fill lecture and laboratory positions within the Lab Sciences Department starting January 2025. The role involves teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology 1 and/or 2, with opportunities to teach during traditional daytime hours, evenings, and Saturdays. This is a pooled search to develop a roster of qualified adjunct applicants who will be kept on file for three years to fill part-time teaching vacancies as they arise.
Requirements
- Master's degree with specific anatomy and physiology, or related professional experience
- Bachelor's degree may be sufficient with related experience and coursework
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with diverse populations
- Ability to foster inclusion
- Ability to promote equal access and treatment for groups traditionally under-represented in higher education
- Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
