About The Position

This is a part-time position with two 12-hour day shifts per week, totaling 24 scheduled hours. The role involves assisting in laboratory activities, preparing specimens and supplies, and potentially entering laboratory orders and results. The primary focus is ensuring the accuracy and quality of laboratory data within a safe and professional work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
• May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy
• Collecting, preparing, and processing biological specimens
• Assisting in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks
• Aiding in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies
• Entering laboratory orders and results
• Ensuring the accuracy and quality of laboratory data
