The Labor Specialist will be responsible for facilitating administrative processes for various HR functions including labor relations, staffing, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
  • One (1) or more years of experience in HR or related field.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and create process recommendations
  • Experience working in HRIS systems, SuccessFactors, Kronos, and Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

  • Administers consistent application of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Tracks, schedules, and assists in the preparation for arbitrations and other legal proceedings.
  • Facilitates administration of the grievance process, to include tracking and reporting on data, and coordinating remedies.
  • Responsible for generating and analyzing reports while accurately preparing and maintaining employee discipline documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develops improvements to the quality and consistency of HR administrative processes.
  • Serves as an in-person point of contact for general HR questions.
  • Manages consistent customer-facing reports, to include labor relations analytics, union leave reports, etc.
  • Supports employee communication to the production workforce.
  • Provides backup support to other HR functions.
