About The Position

The Labor Specialist will be responsible for facilitating administrative processes for various HR functions including labor relations, staffing and compliance. YOUR IMPACT These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned. Administers consistent application of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Tracks, schedules and assists in the preparation for arbitrations and other legal proceedings. Facilitates administration of the grievance process, to include tracking and reporting on data, and coordinating remedies. Responsible for generating and analyzing reports while accurately preparing and maintaining employee discipline documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures. Develops improvements to the quality and consistency of HR administrative processes. Serves as an in-person point of contact for general HR questions. Manages consistent customer facing reports, to include labor relations analytics, union leave reports, etc. Supports employee communication to production workforce. Provides backup support to other HR functions.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
  • One (1) or more years of experience in HR or related field.

  • Ability to analyze data and create process recommendations
  • Experience working in HRIS systems, SuccessFactors, Kronos, and Microsoft Excel
