About The Position

Ascension St Joseph Hospital is seeking a Labor Management Engineering Manager to implement market-wide labor management initiatives, procedures, and projects to standardize routine practices and improve overall operational and financial productivity. This role involves partnering with market, hospital, and department leaders to guide them through the successful implementation of strategic labor management plans. The manager will lead action plans specifically targeting premium pay, contract labor, and general labor expenses to ensure efficient and appropriate staffing. Additionally, the position requires monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), leading labor meetings to analyze trends, address gaps, and recommend corrective actions, and ensuring the accuracy of volume forecasts and control targets while maintaining data integrity, analytics, and reporting for all assigned markets.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years with background in data, analytics, dashboards and Google Sheet
  • Experience in labor management preferred
