About The Position

Aligned Talent Acquisition is recruiting for an experienced Labor & Employment Litigation Associate Attorney opportunity with a leading Am Law 100 firm in Dallas. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation associate interested in a sophisticated management-side employment litigation practice, representing employers in complex workplace disputes in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies.

Requirements

• 2-6 years of labor and employment litigation experience
• Experience representing employers in sophisticated employment disputes
• Experience handling matters involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour claims, restrictive covenants, and trade secret disputes
• Experience litigating matters in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies
• Strong experience drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents
• Experience taking and defending depositions and working with fact and expert witnesses
• Experience with hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
• Experience handling EEOC and other administrative agency matters
• Ability to independently manage significant portions of cases while collaborating with partners and clients
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters in a fast-paced environment
• Strong academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Responsibilities

• Representing employers in complex workplace disputes in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies.
• Handling matters involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour claims, restrictive covenants, and trade secret disputes.
• Drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents.
• Taking and defending depositions and working with fact and expert witnesses.
• Participating in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Handling EEOC and other administrative agency matters.
• Independently managing significant portions of cases while collaborating with partners and clients.
• Managing multiple sophisticated matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Direct client interaction and involvement in litigation strategy.
• Collaboration with complementary labor and employment, commercial litigation, corporate, and regulatory practices.
