About The Position

The firm is seeking a midlevel to senior associate with four to seven years of employment law experience to join its Labor & Employment practice group in the Seattle office. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated passion for building a practice and a desire to work creatively with clients to find solutions. This role requires strong academic credentials, excellent legal writing skills, and experience in employment litigation, including court appearances and depositions, preferably with an AmLaw 100 law firm. Federal clerkship experience and experience in single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits, handling wage and hour matters, and client counseling are highly desirable. The associate will be expected to effectively manage internal and external client relationships, take the lead on matters, and supervise junior associates. Requirements

  • Four to seven years of employment law experience.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent legal writing skills.
  • Experience in employment litigation, including court appearances and depositions.
  • Experience preferably with an AmLaw 100 law firm.
  • Ability to effectively manage internal and external client relationships.
  • Ability to take the lead on matters and supervise junior associates.
