About The Position

The firm is seeking a midlevel to senior associate with four to seven years of employment law experience to join its Labor & Employment practice group in the San Francisco or Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will have a passion for practice building, a desire to work creatively with clients, strong academic credentials, excellent legal writing skills, and experience in employment litigation, including court appearances and depositions, preferably with an AmLaw 100 law firm. Federal clerkship experience and experience in single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits, handling wage and hour matters, and client counseling are also desired. The role requires the ability to manage client relationships, lead matters, and supervise junior associates.

Requirements

  • Four to seven years of employment law experience.

  • Experience in employment litigation, including court appearances and depositions.
  • Experience preferably with an AmLaw 100 law firm.

Responsibilities

  • Handle employment litigation, including court appearances and depositions.
