About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in labor and delivery, providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers and their newborns. This position involves both antepartum and labor management, including various clinical procedures and postpartum care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and fetal monitoring.
• Strong clinical skills in labor management and postpartum care.
• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferably Epic.

Nice To Haves

• Experience or comfort with scrubbing during procedures is a plus.
• Multilingual skills, especially in Russian or Spanish, are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cervical exams and manage labor and antepartum patients.
• Perform amniotic infusions and administer epidurals as needed.
• Monitor fetal well-being through effective fetal monitoring techniques.
• Manage intravenous (IV) therapy and administer Pitocin as required.
• Circulate during C-sections and assist in various surgical procedures.
• Provide immediate care to newborns, including baby catching and APGAR scoring.
• Support new mothers in breastfeeding and postpartum care from transition to discharge.
