About The Position

We are seeking a qualified Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with various procedures and have a strong background in labor and delivery. Candidates should be comfortable with all aspects of post-partum care, from the transition of care to discharge for both mother and baby.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Comfortable working with Perinatal care
• Current certifications in BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring
• Proficient in performing cervical exams, antepartum assessments, labor management, amnio infusions, and administering epidurals
• Experience with fetal monitoring, IV placement, and Pitocin administration
• Ability to circulate C-sections and assist in baby catching/receiving, including performing APGAR assessments
• Knowledge of breastfeeding practices
• Comfortable with all aspects of post-partum care, from the transition of care to discharge for both mother and baby

Nice To Haves

• Scrub experience
• Current familiarity with Epic EMR software
• Ability to communicate in Russian or Spanish
