About The Position

The Lab Technician I supports chemical manufacturing operations by performing laboratory analyses, maintaining quality standards, and providing technical support to production teams. The role works with production, quality, and technical teams to generate accurate data, maintain laboratory equipment, support continuous improvement, and contribute to process optimization and product quality. It is based 100% onsite and follows a rotating DuPont schedule: a continuous 28-day pattern providing 24/7 coverage, with 12-hour shifts alternating between days and nights, averaging 42 hours per week, and a consecutive seven-day break every four weeks.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field; alternatively, an Associate of Science in a STEM field with two years of experience, or a high school diploma with four years of experience.
• Attention to detail, commitment to safety, and an analytical mindset.
• Ability to collaborate with production, quality, and technical teams.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years of previous chemical manufacturing laboratory experience.
• Experience with LIMS.
• Experience with SAP.
• Experience with Auto Titrators, FTIR, and relevant software such as OMNIS, Tiamo, or OMNIC.
• Wet chemistry experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production materials and interpret data to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment and ensure laboratory records are accurate.
• Report test data and maintain required documentation.
• Provide technical support to production staff.
• Support special projects as assigned.
• Review processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
