Lab Technician Assistant (Full-time Contract)
About The Position
Parrish & Heimbecker (P&H) is seeking a motivated, forward-thinking, and dedicated individual for a Lab Technician Assistant (Full Time Contract) position within its Grain division in Winnipeg, MB. The P&H Grain Division operates a comprehensive network of approximately 45 locations across the prairie provinces, Ontario, and Quebec, providing producers with grain and crop input services. This role involves assisting with tests and procedures to grade the quality and condition of grain samples for growers, traders, and P&H facilities, supporting the Quality Control Manager and Lab Technicians with assigned duties.

Nice To Haves
- Knowledge and basic comprehension of lab terminology is an asset
- Knowledge of basic testing procedures and equipment is an asset
- Education in agriculture, science and/or food science would be an asset
Responsibilities
- Preparing various samples for analysis and testing
- Reporting/logging detailed results of tests and samples
- Performing maintenance checks on equipment and log maintenance activity.
