About The Position

The Laboratory Department System Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the laboratory department. The position requires strong clinical expertise related to laboratory results and the ability to maintain excellent working relationships among the Laboratory, physicians, nursing staff, and other hospital departments. The supervisor works closely with the Laboratory Director to maintain department policies and procedures and oversee daily operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree minimum.
• Five years of experience.
• Florida Supervisor licensure/certification/registration: TN required; SU preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong clinical skills related to laboratory results.

Nice To Haves

• Florida Supervisor (SU) credential preferred.
