About The Position

The Lab Microbiologist performs procedures and work instructions in a food safety laboratory, covering chemistry, analytical, microbiological, or quality system tasks. Precision and accuracy in following work instructions and collecting data are essential. Team members are expected to demonstrate proficiency and growth after training, perform complex work instructions or operate sophisticated equipment without close supervision, work independently, and resolve routine problems. The role maintains ISO records for process control, complies with quality and safety requirements, and cross-trains to substitute for absent team members in specific areas. Other duties may be assigned.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., with some Saturdays. This role does not support sponsorship, and applicants must reside in the United States. Candidates must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Good reading, verbal, and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• College-level courses or a degree in chemistry, microbiology, or a related science field.
• Previous laboratory experience or technical training in a related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Labware LIMS applications.
