About The Position

Join our Phlebotomy Laboratory team to be an integral part of delivering precise and reliable laboratory results that impact patient outcomes positively. Performs non-blood and blood specimen collection, specimen handling/routine processing and clerical duties associated with specimen collection.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• No Experience
• No Experience (Supervisor Experience)

Nice To Haves

• <2 years experience
• < 2 years supervisor experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Phlebotomy

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction, proper collection and specimen integrity.
• Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times.
• Interacts with lab, clinical and other ancillary departments.
