About The Position

The Veterinary Dental Lab Assistant supports daily lab operations, including cadaver prep, lab organization, and equipment readiness, and assists with lab setup for tradeshows, events, and demonstrations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable handling specimens/cadavers professionally and hygienically, and able to manage logistics for lab-related events.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in a laboratory, operations, or administrative support role.
  • Comfortable handling cadavers professionally, hygienically, and in accordance with lab protocols.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Communicates clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Attention to detail and consistent focus — this role requires precision in specimen handling and lab documentation.
  • Ability to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Pre-employment drug screening required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific, operations, or business-related field.
  • Experience coordinating trade shows, events, or logistics.
  • Experience in veterinary dental preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with inventory systems, shipping logistics, or basic lab compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates daily lab activities, including cadaver prep, and equipment readiness.
  • Maintains lab organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards, including proper handling and disposal of specimens/cadavers per protocol.
  • Assists with preparation of lab materials, documentation, and basic data tracking.
  • Plans and coordinates logistics for trade shows, conferences, and demonstrations, including shipping materials, booth supplies, and equipment.
  • Serves as point of contact for show vendors, venues, and internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Tracks show schedules, deadlines, and budgets; ensures timely execution of all deliverables.
  • Supports on-site show setup, breakdown, and staffing coordination as needed.
  • Maintains accurate records related to lab operations and event activities.
  • Follows all lab safety, quality, and company procedures.
  • Performs other related lab duties as assigned.
