About The Position

Caring Heart Companion Service is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Korean Speaking Caregiver to provide culturally sensitive, personalized in-home care to clients in Torrance, California, and surrounding areas. The caregiver helps clients with personal care and daily living activities, offers companionship and emotional support, and communicates with Korean-speaking clients to promote comfort and understanding. The role also includes observing and reporting changes in clients’ health or behavior and assisting with medication reminders, appointments, errands, and social activities as needed. Caring Heart is an in-home care provider serving the Torrance community and nearby areas. The organization describes its approach as individualized care that supports clients’ comfort and independence at home, while also providing companionship and peace of mind for families. Requirements

Fluency in Korean, spoken and/or written, is required.
Compassionate, patient, and dependable, with a strong work ethic.
Ability to pass a background check and provide references.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving, home health aide, or personal care experience is preferred.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
HHA or CNA certification is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support.
Communicate effectively with Korean-speaking clients to ensure comfort and understanding.
Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and activities of daily living.
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
Monitor and report changes in a client’s health, behavior, or condition to supervisors.
Assist with medication reminders and medical appointments as needed.
Transport or accompany clients to errands, appointments, and social activities.
