About The Position

Peraton seeks a Knowledge Management /Tech Writer to support the Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security. In this role, the individual will manage enterprise knowledge assets and produce technical documentation including templates, data dictionaries, process documentation, and analytic method guides. This position is located at Fort Meade, MD.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
• Excellent technical writing skills
• Experience with documentation platforms (Confluence, SharePoint)
• Understanding of data and analytics concepts
• Knowledge management experience
• Ability to translate technical content for various audiences
• U.S Citizenship required
• DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance

Nice To Haves

• Technical writing certifications / education
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, or related field

Responsibilities

• Maintain templates, data dictionaries, and process documentation
