About The Position

Arthrex Bay Area is seeking an Arthroplasty Manager focusing on Knee and Hip recon, to help exceed predetermined sales and quota goals. The Arthroplasty Manager will work to identify business opportunities and develop sales strategies. This individual must maintain customer relations with current orthopedic surgeons and establish new relations through case coverage, consistent communications and in-person sales appointments. This position requires a high level of technical information, anatomy and sales ability as it relates to arthroplasty surgery and procedures. The Arthroplasty Manager will spend the majority of time in sales calls and surgery interacting with field reps, OR staff and surgeons. This position mandates strong time management skills, established sales skills, and ability to manage surgical equipment and inventory. It is critical that he/she be a confident, highly motivated individual who places top priority on exceeding revenue goals. This role demands strong leadership and requires the professional to set him or herself as an example for all team members to follow. Essential duties and responsibilities include: ▪ Arthrex Bay Area, an independent agency authorized to sell Arthrex products, by working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals. Arthrex is a world-class leader in the orthopedic industry. ▪ Primary responsibility is meeting and exceeding sales quotas and objectives for the agency. ▪ Carrying out the objectives defined Vice President of Sales. ▪ Responsible for the development and performance of Technology Consultants with regards to arthroplasty products and surgical techniques. ▪ Help develop a business plan and sales strategy for agency area that ensures attainment of company sales goals, quotas and profitability of Arthrex products. ▪ Responsible for being the main technical expert for all items within the Arthroplastyportfolio. ▪ Increase territory results by building and maintaining strong business relationships. ▪ Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs. ▪ Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other critical business applications. ▪ Collect competitive data and remain current on industry, customer, and competitive trends. ▪ Participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as required. ▪ Conduct regular coaching with Arthrex Representatives to build motivation and selling skills. ▪ Build strong relationships and work closely with Arthrex Regional Management to ensure attainment of required company sales goals, quotas and proper protocols. ▪ Attend surgeries to provide technical expertise and guidance to surgeons and operating room staff. ▪ Uphold the mission of Arthrex, "Helping surgeons treat their patients better™". ▪ Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes. ▪ Support compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information; protecting the assets of the organization; acting with ethics and integrity; reporting noncompliance; and adhering to applicable federal, state & local laws and regulations, accreditation & licenser requirements, and Company policies & procedures. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5+ Years field experience in Knee and Hip recon sales.
  • Excellent communication, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced and comfortable making executive presentations.
  • Skilled in working with different functions and effectively coordinating activities to achieve desired results.
  • Excellent listening skills, including the ability to identify and isolate customer concerns or objections.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Current Driver's license
  • Access to your own transportation
  • Daily travel required within territory
  • Proficiency in MS Office

Responsibilities
