About The Position

As a Retrofit/Recon Technician, you will return cars to factory standards and retrofit vehicles with current updated parts/calibration. The pay rate for this role starts at $24 per hour based on experience. The hours for this role are Monday through Friday 6am to 2:30pm.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Must be at least 21 years of age to drive company vehicles at Milford Proving Grounds.
Must be mechanically inclined and own tools or willingness to purchase tools.
Must have familiarity with re-flashing modules and calibrations.
Must have exceptional critical thinking/problem-solving skills.
Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently.
Must be a reliable team player.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Diagnose issues, noises, vibrations, etc.
Replace worn, broken, or EX parts.
Reflash calibrations/modules back to factory standards.
Install LPO parts and perform PDI (pre-delivery inspection).
Test drive vehicles to ensure the vehicle is road-ready.
Complete paperwork and input hours worked into productivity software.
Complete campaigns and safety bulletins.
Perform routine services as needed.
Scrap vehicle teardown as needed.
