Registered Nurse – TX Hip Knee FW 19038 Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together. This role involves performing general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures, potentially including specific nursing care related to the specialty of the practice. The nurse will obtain patient consent, ensure patient confidentiality, document health history, vital signs, and health risk factors, and assess disease conditions. Patient care will be provided based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations. The role includes executing prescribed treatments, administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and consulting with physicians and other health providers. Patient and family education on health status, maintenance, and management of conditions is a key responsibility. Documentation of patient assessment and intervention data is required, along with participation in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes. Tracking quality assurance data and monitoring acute and chronic care management are also part of the duties.
