About The Position

The Kitting Operator creates kits for assembly and building that contain handrails, spindles, printed installation directions, templates, and screws. The role works under the direction of the Production Supervisor and is expected to demonstrate a commitment to AZEK core values. The position contributes to accident-free operations and follows health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.

Requirements

Be self-directed and motivated, and able to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Have strong attention to detail.
Have work schedule flexibility, with or without notice, to accommodate business needs.
Meet qualification and certification requirements established by the TimberTech Training Resources and Knowledge (TRAK) program.
Demonstrate understanding of kitting processes.
Have strong decision-making and analytical skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally.
Have troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate upwardly to top management and downwardly to a wide range of audiences.
Be able to multitask in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Be able to stand for long periods and perform the listed physical activities, including occasionally lifting or moving up to 40 pounds.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
One to three years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities

Contribute to accident-free operations and comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulations.
Assemble pre-formed boxes.
Create packages containing the correct number of handrails, spindles, printed installation directions, templates, and building screws.
Label completed boxes.
Band and cover completed boxes.
Perform additional duties as needed or assigned by supervision or management.
