About The Position

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is hiring a Forklift Operator to load and unload trailers and railcars, move loads to designated areas, and support warehouse operations. The operator checks inbound and outbound products for accuracy and damage, uses handheld equipment for warehouse management system compliance, and assists with inventory activities. The role also includes equipment inspections and upkeep, following company procedures and safety guidelines, cooperating with warehouse associates, and helping maintain a clean, orderly facility. Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor. Responsibilities

Load and unload trailers and railcars, and transport loads to designated areas.
Check inbound and outbound products to verify items and quantities and ensure there is no damage.
Use handheld scanners or equipment to comply with the warehouse management system.
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
Recharge batteries, fill fuel tanks, or replace gas tanks.
Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment.
Follow company procedures and policies to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Follow company safety policies and guidelines to maintain safe working conditions for oneself and others.
Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
Help keep the facility clean, neat, and orderly.
Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
