About The Position
As a Deli Host, you will provide customer service to people from all walks of life and help maintain a clean, stocked deli area. No prior experience is required; training is provided. You will prepare deli products, help keep deli, coffee, and fountain areas supplied with fresh offerings, and use company procedures and tools to maintain food safety. The role may also include cross-training in other departments.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift more than 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
Responsibilities
- Answer questions about menu offerings and address customer needs.
- Assist store cashier team members with cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars, keeping them stocked with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
- Prepare deli products according to designated preparation guides, including salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold and hot sandwiches and wraps, and parfait cups.
- Use methods and technologies to follow company policies and procedures and maintain proper food safety conditions.
- Potentially cross-train in departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
