About The Position

Dash In is hiring a Kitchen Team Member/Prep Cook for its Back of House team at its Glen Burnie, Maryland store. The role supports a chef-inspired food concept in a 24/7 retail environment, preparing food and helping create a positive guest experience. The team member maintains food safety, sanitation, quality, freshness, and cleanliness standards; organizes and stocks the prep station; handles incoming goods; interacts with guests while preparing food; and operates kitchen equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or willingness to complete the company-paid GED program.
• At least 1 year of food service experience.
• Ability to work various shifts, including days, nights, overnights, and weekends.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Line cook or prep cook experience is preferred.
• Active ServSafe certification or similar qualifications.
• Familiarity with POS software.
• Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to speak and understand Korean.

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Monitor and maintain prep levels so ingredients and food are fresh and ready for guests.
• Keep the prep station clean, stocked, and organized.
• Manage incoming goods and store them properly.
• Maintain a clean and inviting kitchen environment.
• Engage with guests while preparing food and provide a personalized experience.
• Operate kitchen equipment, including deep fryers and slicers.
