Kitchen Team Member Part Time
About The Position
As a Kitchen Team Member at Love’s, you will provide customer service while keeping the deli area clean, stocked, and supplied with fresh offerings. You will answer questions about menu items, address customer needs, assist store cashier team members with deli, coffee, and fountain bar upkeep, and prepare a variety of deli products according to designated preparation guides. You will use company methods and technologies to follow food safety policies and procedures. Additional duties may include cross-training in other departments, including Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles. No experience is required; training is provided.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 25 or more pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
Responsibilities
- Provide general customer service, answer questions about menu offerings, and address customer needs.
- Assist store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars, keeping them stocked with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
- Prepare deli products according to designated preparation guides, including salads, fresh-cut fruit, hot and cold sandwiches, wraps, and parfait cups.
- Use methods and technologies to follow company policies and procedures and maintain proper food safety conditions.
- Potentially cross-train in other departments, such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
