About The Position
As a Kitchen Team Member at Love’s, you will provide customer service while keeping the deli area clean and stocked. The role includes helping customers with menu questions, preparing deli products according to designated preparation guides, and maintaining food safety conditions by following company policies and procedures. No prior experience is required; training is provided. Team members may also cross-train in other departments, including cashiering, facility maintenance, and leadership roles.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 25 or more pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
Responsibilities
- Answer questions about menu offerings and address customer needs.
- Assist store cashier team members with cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars, keeping them stocked with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
- Prepare deli products according to designated preparation guides, including salads, fresh-cut fruit, hot and cold sandwiches, wraps, and parfait cups.
- Use methods and technologies to follow company policies and procedures and maintain proper food safety conditions.
- Potentially cross-train in other departments, such as store cashier, restaurant cashier, facility maintenance, and leadership roles.
