About The Position
Responsible for the operation of the dish washing machine and the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
Requirements
- Able to carry and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, twist, lift and stand for the shift worked.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for washing all china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans and other items used in the restaurant, kitchen and banquet department.
- Responsible for breakdown of all boxes, emptying trash containers into the dumpster and cleaning all containers.
- Clean walls in the kitchen as appropriate; especially in dish room area.
- Clean floor mats, sweeps and mop entire kitchen floor daily.
- Ensure the dish machine is operating effectively and reading at the appropriate temperature.
- Assist with unloading and organizing shipments.
- Perform all other duties as deemed necessary by management.
