The Kitchen Steward is responsible for cleaning and maintaining floors and walls in designated food service areas, as well as sanitizing the entire kitchen area. This role involves collecting and removing trash, adhering to safety and sanitation standards, and properly using and maintaining equipment. The Kitchen Steward must also maintain inspection readiness at all times and report any issues to the Executive Chef/Sous Chef. Additionally, the role requires performing other assigned tasks and demonstrating core competencies such as dedication to guests and colleagues, understanding the impact of decisions, presenting new ideas, respectful consideration of others, and prioritizing the guest experience.
