About The Position

Help keep our kitchen clean, safe, and running smoothly! Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and culinary areas. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. Must be 18+.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Physically able to repeatedly lift, bend, reach, stoop, climb, and carry items for extended amounts of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to continuously lift and move items up to 40 pounds.
• Able to endure heat and moist conditions with reasonable accommodation.
• Able to work long periods of time on their feet at a fast pace to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Understanding that hours will also vary between day and evening shifts.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and store kitchen equipment, glassware, and utensils according to proper industry standards within specified timelines in a safe and controlled manner.
• Perform assorted cleaning and sanitation needs of all appropriate culinary areas.
• Alert supervisor or Chef on duty of any equipment failures or needed maintenance immediately.
• Perform duties in various working environments such as in deep freezers and around steam cleaning equipment.
• Use equipment that uses water, steam, and heat for safe maintaining of food contact surfaces.
• Responsible for all other duties as assigned.
