About The Position

The Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. This includes cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen equipment, prep areas, walk-ins, and storage spaces. The role also involves washing and storing dishes, pots, pans, glasses, and utensils, managing trash and recycling, and supporting kitchen and event teams with setup, breakdown, and occasional dish-up assistance. The goal is to ensure consistent sanitation standards across all food and beverage workspaces.

Requirements

  • No experience necessary; training will be provided
  • Food Safety Certificate or willingness to complete training within 90 days
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, or squat for long periods
  • A team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, prep areas, walk-ins, and storage spaces
  • Wash and store dishes, pots, pans, glasses, and utensils in designated areas
  • Manage trash and recycling, including cleaning bins and maintaining the dock area
  • Support kitchen and event teams with setup, breakdown, and occasional dish-up assistance
  • Help ensure consistent sanitation standards across all food and beverage workspaces
