This role is responsible for performing the tasks of a Kitchen Server and Front Desk Receptionist, with flexibility to support other roles where business needs arise, including a back-up for the role of Consumer Liaison. The Kitchen Server duties involve preparing and serving products for consumer testing, maintaining the testing area, and assisting with kitchen duties. The Front Desk Receptionist duties include welcoming guests, managing visitor logs, assisting consumers, checking them in, explaining study instructions, maintaining the reception area, communicating with operations teams, processing incentive payments, and organizing study information. This is a full-time position, deemed non-exempt for overtime purposes, and, therefore, is subject to overtime compensation.

  • Preferably, at least one year of customer service experience

Responsibilities

  • Attending on-site pre-study briefings at the beginning of each shift
  • Become familiar with testing guidelines at start of each shift/job by thoroughly reading and comprehending the execution instructions
  • Setting-up of testing area before fielding and breaking-down testing area at study completion
  • Ensuring booth computer equipment is working for consumers
  • Serving correct products, following sequence as indicated in project instructions and on RedJade serving console (or other data collection platform), and as directed by Test Supervisor
  • Cleaning and sanitizing consumer areas after each session, resetting for next session
  • Distributing product packages for consumers to evaluate for home use tests, if applicable
  • Assisting in various kitchen duties as assigned by Test Supervisor, including labeling serving vessels, monitoring serving supplies and restocking as needed, pre-portioning products, or assisting with storing product
  • Welcoming clients, consumers, and facility guests with a positive and helpful attitude
  • Maintaining a log of visitors and guests
  • Pleasantly assisting consumers with inquiries
  • Efficiently checking in consumers upon arrival, providing necessary study ID cards and direction to the designated waiting or testing area
  • Explaining project instructions to consumers, especially for Home Use Tests (HUTs)
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy reception area, ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety rules
  • Communicating with recruiting operations and project managers to provide consumer session show rates to assist with accurate quota management
  • Generating incentive payment requests for the accounting team
  • Performing incentive financial reconciliation at conclusion of study to balance ARCs records to actual participation records before submitting incentive requests for payout
  • Create and house study information in relevant project folders on the shared drive, including the final list of participants, incentive reconciliation report, and participation ID numbers
  • Any other tasks as assigned by Test Supervisor, Testing Operations Manager, or Facility Director
