About The Position

As the Kitchen Manager, you're the commander of the cooks! Keeping the energy high, the service smooth, and the vibe unmistakably Ian's. You'll work with the GM and AGM to make sure your kitchen crew has the training, tools, and support they need to crush every shift. A big part of your gig is training and developing your team on-shift. You'll be the lead trainer for the kitchen: showing staff the ropes, giving helpful feedback, and running quarterly reviews. There's also the behind-the-scenes work: meetings, responding to messages, tackling projects, and working with leadership to make the kitchen runs smoothly.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of supervisory experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Kitchen experience required.
  • Must complete a food safety certification course within 6 months.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods; bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs; use ovens, knives, and other equipment of the business.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the restaurant for a variety of shift times, including mornings, afternoons, and nights.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a major plus!

Responsibilities
