About The Position
The Kitchen Helper cleans and sanitizes dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and trays, either by hand or using an automatic dishwasher. The role also involves sweeping and mopping kitchen floors, keeping kitchen equipment and surfaces clean, and disposing of waste in designated areas.
Requirements
- Able to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift.
- Knowledgeable about proper chemicals and techniques used for job duties.
- Able to maneuver up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
Responsibilities
- Sanitize and clean dishes, glassware, silverware, and flatware by hand or using an automatic dishwasher.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
- Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen equipment and surfaces.
- Dispose of waste in designated waste areas.
