About The Position
Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, NC is seeking a Kitchen Expeditor for our renowned Red Fox Restaurant. We are a privately owned and operated country club nestled inside Preston, a premier residential community. This is a Part Time position. This is a great entry-level positions and an opportunity to be a part of our award-winning Culinary team! Great for students!
Requirements
- Must be available to work PM shift (5pm-10pm), 3-4 days per week, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience in hospitality or any other related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening and be eligible to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Checks orders and instructions as the tickets come into the kitchen and checks for special instructions.
- Calls out the orders to the line and assembles trays before they are sent into the dining room.
- Serves as communication between the Front and Back of the House, observing all rules and expectations of the Chef.
- Responsible for all training material and knowledge of all food and wine items on the menus and special sheets.
- Must exhibit a willingness to learn.
