Stew Leonard’s, a family-owned and operated fresh food store founded in 1969, has locations in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Stew’s earned its nickname, the “Disneyland of Dairy Stores” because of its country-fair atmosphere, with costumed characters and animated entertainment throughout the store that keep children entertained while parents shop. This is a Part Time Kitchen Culinary Assistant position with Hourly-Weekly Pay. The Culinary assistant preps, freshly cuts, and trim the meat for marinated and grilled merchandise. They fill and rotate products in the meat cases for quality and proper dates. Team members work safely and adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards in each area of the department to provide customers with the highest quality products.
