About The Position

Ono Hawaiian BBQ is seeking motivated individuals to join its team as Kitchen Crew Members. This hourly role supports back-of-house operations and helps deliver high-quality food to customers. Kitchen Crew Members prepare food from scratch, stock inventory, cook and serve food at the cookline, and maintain food quality and portion control. The position is offered part-time or full-time and pays $20.00 per hour.

The kitchen environment may be hot and noisy, with extremely cold conditions in the walk-in refrigerated area. Employees work around kitchen equipment and tools and must be able to perform the listed physical activities. Requirements

• Food Handler Card required by the state or local health department.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with health codes and safety procedures.
• Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Understand and comply with the Kitchen Crew Training Guideline.
• Prepare food, stock inventory, and maintain food quality and portion control when cooking and serving food at the cookline.
• Prepare multiple food orders at the cookline and ensure they are served accurately and on time.
• Maintain store cleanliness by performing daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
