About The Position

Ono Hawaiian BBQ is seeking motivated individuals to join its team as Kitchen Crew Members. This hourly position supports back-of-house operations and helps deliver high-quality food to customers. Kitchen Crew Members prepare food from scratch, stock inventory, maintain food quality and portion control, and prepare and serve orders accurately and promptly. The role also includes following health and safety requirements and company procedures, maintaining a clean kitchen, and providing excellent customer service. Compensation is $20.00 per hour. The position may be part-time or full-time.

Requirements

• Food Handler Card required by the state or local health department.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with health codes and safety procedures.
• Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Understand and comply with the Kitchen Crew Training Guideline.
• Prepare food, stock inventory, and maintain food quality and portion control when cooking and serving at the cookline.
• Prepare multiple food orders at the cookline and ensure food is served accurately and promptly to customers.
• Maintain store cleanliness by performing daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
