About The Position

Wayland Union Schools is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support its food service operations on student days. The position involves food preparation and presentation, quality assurance, food service, and cash handling. The employee must follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures and work effectively with students, teachers, coworkers, and administrators. Employment is subject to the Food Service Agreement and is contingent upon passing post-offer background checks.

Requirements

• Self-motivated, with a good work ethic.
• Demonstrated punctuality and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work well with students, teachers, coworkers, and administrators.
• Accurate record-keeping capabilities.
• Ability to follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic PC knowledge required.
• Must pass post-offer background checks.
