About The Position

Robertson Heating Supply is seeking a full- or part-time showroom assistant to compete in a strong, competitive market. The role involves helping customers with kitchen and bathroom products, supplying product details, processing orders and returns, and designing practical, dimensionally correct project layouts. The salesperson will present products in the showroom, cultivate customer relationships, and cover the showroom as needed, including a set number of Saturdays. Robertson's is a family-owned plumbing, heating, and kitchen wholesale company that has been in business for 92 years. It has 40 branch locations and seven kitchen and bath showrooms across five states, and distributes HVAC, plumbing, and hydronic products. The position is hourly, with bonus-earning potential, and pays $16.00–$18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Passion for customer service.
Ability to handle multiple jobs and projects simultaneously.
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Pass a background check and drug test.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of and experience with 20/20 or an equivalent CAD design program is preferred.
Experience in the kitchen and bath or builder-remodeler industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Speak knowledgeably about kitchen and bathroom products.
Provide customers with relevant product information, including specifications, pricing, and availability.
Process sales orders, purchase orders, and returns accurately and efficiently.
Design and provide project layouts that are dimensionally correct and practical and logical for installation.
Work with customers and cultivate relationships.
Present products in a showroom environment.
Cover the showroom when needed, including a set number of Saturdays.
