Kinesiology/Athletics Equipment Technician
About The Position
Under general leadership, provide locker room and kinesiology department services. This position involves issuing, receiving, checking, storing, and inventorying athletic equipment, clothing, and towels. It also includes maintaining, cleaning, and repairing these items, as well as stenciling and marking equipment and clothing. The technician will notify supervisors when supplies are needed, maintain lost and found articles and first-aid supplies, and set up equipment for classes. Additionally, they will assist faculty and coaches, assign lockers and maintain records, and ensure the cleanliness of locker rooms, shower areas, storage rooms, faculty lounges, and restrooms. Field preparation, including marking and lining of athletic fields, is also a responsibility. The role may involve overseeing temporary staff and performing other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- One year of experience related to the duties of the position

- Education Requirement: One year of education is equal to 30 semester units.
- Education must be from an accredited institution.
Responsibilities
- Issue, receive, check, store and inventory athletic equipment, clothing, and towels
