About The Position
The Student Assistant– Athletics Equipment will provide assistance in three main areas of the equipment operation: inventory management, laundry operation, and distribution/collection of equipment. With inventory management, the student will assist in counting, data entry, and storage of athletic equipment. The Student Assistant – Athletics Equipment will assist in the laundering of athletic clothing and uniforms.
Responsibilities
- Daily laundry of practice and game uniforms
- Inventory of athletic equipment
- Issuing of athletic equipment
- Collecting equipment from athletes after their season
- Game day set-up of uniforms for SU home contests
- Keeping all equipment rooms cleaned and organized
- Data entry on issued athletic equipment
