Kinesiology/Athletics Equipment Technician
About The Position
Under general leadership, provide locker room and kinesiology department services. This position involves issuing, receiving, checking, storing, and inventorying athletic equipment, clothing, and towels. It also includes maintaining, cleaning, and repairing these items, as well as stenciling and marking equipment and clothing. The technician will notify supervisors when supplies need replacement, maintain lost and found articles, and manage first-aid supplies. Additionally, the role requires setting up equipment for classes, assisting faculty and coaches, assigning lockers and maintaining records, and ensuring the cleanliness of locker rooms, shower areas, storage rooms, faculty lounges, and restrooms. Field preparation, including marking and lining athletic fields, and overseeing temporary staff are also part of the duties. Related duties as assigned are also included.
Requirements
- One year of experience related to the duties of the position

- Education: One year of education is equal to 30 semester units. Education must be from an accredited institution.
Responsibilities
- Issue, receive, check, store and inventory athletic equipment, clothing, and towels
