About The Position

Join us for the 2026-2027 school year! Assist a certified teacher in providing instruction to individual or small groups; monitor and report student progress. Seeking applicants with the following qualifications. Have strong communication skills and the ability to relate to students. Have the belief that all kids can learn at high levels. • Must meet one of the following: 48 college semester hours, An Associate’s Degree, OR High school diploma plus a passing score on the Paraeducator Assessment Exam.
• Candidates must provide proof of educational requirements to HR upon recommendation for hire.
• Previous experience working with students is valued.
• New hires may bring up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience.
• The hired applicant is responsible for submitting the BCPS Verification of Experience Form to prior employers for completion and return to HR.
