About The Position

The Kids Club Supervisor assists with the daily operations of the youth center, helping ensure a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment for children. The role supports staff training and adherence to club standards and safety protocols, and helps create a welcoming, fun, and nurturing atmosphere for young members while providing exceptional service to parents. The supervisor is expected to interact professionally and diplomatically with members, children, and staff. The position involves promoting youth center activities and club amenities, coordinating and participating in children's activities, supervising children, helping address behavioral issues, supporting employee hiring and evaluation, and ensuring staff follow operating procedures. The supervisor also helps develop youth center programs, tracks and reports equipment needs, ensures equipment is safe, and maintains a clean, organized facility. The position reports to the Kids Club Director. Employees may be asked to assist others and take on additional duties as assigned. The schedule follows weekly attendance requirements, may require additional hours, and includes weekend and/or holiday availability as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience working with children in a day care, camp, or educational setting.
At least 1 year of experience in child supervision, activity planning, or youth programs.
Basic first aid and CPR certification.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs.
Availability to work additional hours as needed and on weekends and/or holidays as required.

Responsibilities

Connect with members and promote youth center activities through welcoming greetings, memorable interactions, and fond farewells.
Promote club amenities, programs, and the club while maintaining professional service.
Coordinate and participate in activities and programs with children; monitor and actively engage with them.
Help address problem behaviors in the youth center.
Assist with interviewing, hiring, and evaluating youth center employees.
Help ensure youth center employees follow club operating procedures and meet club standards.
Ensure children remain under constant supervision by childcare attendants.
Assist in developing educational and fun youth center programs.
Maintain an inventory of youth center equipment and advise the Kids Club Director and/or Sports Club Director of equipment needs.
Ensure equipment, toys, and games are safe for children.
Maintain youth center cleanliness and ensure daily assignments are completed, including keeping workspaces organized and the entry area clear of trash and debris.
Follow company, club, and department policies, procedures, instructions, and safety practices.
Support and enforce company policies while maintaining ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
Maintain relevant required certifications and pursue personal and professional growth.
Address challenges using available resources and collaborate with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.
Collaborate with the team to support club goals and operational efficiency.
Assist others and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.
