About The Position

The Kids Club Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the club’s youth center services, maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and families. The role assists with staff supervision, training, and development; facilitates engaging, age-appropriate programs; and ensures high standards of safety, care, and service. The manager promotes positive member interactions and continually improves programs to meet families’ needs. This position reports to the Kids Club Director.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Child Development, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience working with children in a day care, camp, or educational setting.
At least 2 years of experience in child supervision, activity planning, or youth programs.
At least 1 year of experience in childcare management, preferably in a recreational or club setting.
Basic first aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Connect with members, welcome them, promote youth center activities and club amenities, and provide professional service.
Coordinate activities and programs with children, actively monitor and participate with them, and respond appropriately to problem behaviors.
Assist in recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating youth center staff.
Foster teamwork, professional development, and high service standards; help conduct staff meetings and training.
Assist with developing, implementing, and overseeing educational and recreational programs for children of various age groups.
Ensure programs align with club standards and meet the needs and interests of children and families.
Maintain an inventory of youth center equipment, advise the Kids Club Director and/or Sports Club Director of equipment needs, and ensure equipment, toys, and games are safe.
Participate in club events and activities as required, representing childcare services and engaging with members.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the youth center, including completing daily assignments and keeping the entry area orderly and free of debris.
Help manage childcare scheduling, staffing, supplies, and equipment inventory.
Maintain childcare records, including attendance, incident reports, and program evaluations.
Assist with preparing childcare operating budgets, tracking expenses, and meeting financial targets.
Follow company, club, and department policies and procedures; support and enforce policies ethically and professionally.
Promote safe working practices and comply with safety guidelines.
Maintain relevant required certifications and pursue personal and professional growth.
Resolve challenges using available resources and collaborate with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.
Assist others and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.
