About The Position
The Keyholder assists with the daily operations of a Lilly Pulitzer retail store, including sales, client experience, and safeguarding store assets. The role supports the brand’s mission to inspire confidence and optimism and its vision, “Create Your Sunshine, A Resort State of Mind.” The Keyholder is expected to understand the brand’s lifestyle, clients, merchandise, heritage, Core Values, and Core Leadership Qualities. This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position based in a Lilly Pulitzer retail store. Flexible working hours may be required due to seasonal business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The position requires effective collaboration in alignment with company values, compliance with company policies and the Employee Handbook Code of Conduct, and is reviewed annually.
Requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and management.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft and Apple technology.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to remain on one's feet and maneuver around the store during shift hours.
Nice To Haves
- Prior supervisory experience in the fashion or retail industry.
- Prior knowledge of XStore and Tulip.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales goals by delivering an exceptional client experience and actively supporting the sales team in serving clients.
- Demonstrate Lilly Pulitzer’s selling culture and ensure a strong client experience.
- Maintain accuracy in cash transactions in accordance with operating procedures.
- Open and close the retail store.
- Act as an elevated team member by exercising decision-making and multitasking skills while prioritizing service.
- Resolve client-related issues positively or escalate them to store management when necessary.
- Provide store management with ongoing feedback about selling opportunities and successes.
- Maintain visual and operational standards established by the Visual and Retail Operations teams.
- Safeguard store assets.
- Collaborate effectively with other individuals in alignment with the company’s Core Values and Core Leadership Qualities.
- Comply with Lilly Pulitzer policies and the Code of Conduct outlined in the Employee Handbook.
