About The Position

MAC Cosmetics is seeking a dynamic and inspirational Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager and help ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently. The role involves leading by example through coaching and mentoring, and modeling the behaviors that help the sales team provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service while meeting sales and service targets.

The Key Holder uses retail and cash-handling experience to complete essential start- and end-of-day cash reconciliation and is responsible for opening and closing the store on a rotating basis. This position is described as an opportunity for an ambitious self-starter with retail experience to take a first step into supervision and develop a long-term career in prestige beauty.

Requirements

• Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics.
• Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
• Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events, in a fast-paced work environment.
• Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
• Applicants must be able to provide proof of their right to live and work in the country if invited to interview.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail operations experience, including cash reconciliation and opening and closing the store.
• Previous supervisory experience, including coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in the smooth and efficient running of the store.
• Coach and mentor team members, leading by example and modeling service-focused behaviors.
• Help the sales team achieve sales and customer service targets by providing inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
• Carry out start- and end-of-day cash reconciliation.
• Open and close the store on a rota basis.
